so its been a while

Sorry its been so long I know I should post more buuuut well life you know!

Ok so Oz has settled so nicely into our family! We love him so so so much! He is eating better every day, learning to try and enjoy new foods (though he is so scared of any new things) He completely destroyed his bird bed and we bought him a new one but it is to small so we are going to have to reorder a bigger size with a harder board underneath so it does not sag under his weight!

He is talking in our voices alot! but not much in front of us he is very much the closet talker.

Our big news is HES LEARNING TO FLY!!!!!!!!!! we are letting him grow in his wings and he is flying down really well from places and will fly across the room to my husband but not much other then that for now. Though today he flew off his cage and then tried to take off 2x but settled on toddling over to me in the kitchen.

Oz is doing better! He is eating GREAT he is playing more then I've ever seen. He looks more alert and has more energy!

I would never have known he was unwell b/c I never saw him this well!

Its neat!

WE are having such a gret time wiht him He sounds more and more like us as the days go bye!

Back to the vet

Well I took Oz back to Dr. Dorn last week for a recheck but he still has the problem so its another round of antibiotics (I'm getting much better at giving them) he wants us to completely stop giving Oz kisses on the beak b/c oz keeps sticking his beak in our mouths and he thinks hes getting the bacteria from us :(

I'm not sure Oz quite understands b/c he loves his kisses...

We made Oz a swing in the office that he loves to climb up and down... we also re-cliped his wings :(
but he can still fly a bit he just jumps and flutters gently to the ground!

Oz

We had a great trip Oz stayed with my parents he was never in his cage during the day the kids played with him all the time... He had a ball! we missed him alot though!!!!

He took the best shower ever the other day he was diving down into the running water flaping his wings and everything!

His wings are now almost compleatly grown in and he is learning to fly we cant decide if we are going to let him stay flighted or if we are goign to clip again

Better

Ok so med giving is getting a bit better I was able to do it myself today though he was not very happy about it!

On happyer notes my family is going to watch Oz while we go on our cruise so he will get lots of love an attention!

Last night we took oz for dinner at my parnets it was fun! Oz loved the attention!
